Gp Capt (Dr.) Rakesh Pant (Retd.)
Group Captain (Dr.) Rakesh Roshan Pant (Retd.) is an IBBI-Registered Valuer for the Plant & Machinery (P&M) asset class (Registration No. IBBI/RV/02/2025/15974; IOV RVF Membership No. IOVRVF/VM/P&M/14985, Certificate of Practice No. IOVRV02299PM) and a seasoned aviation, supply-chain and quality-assurance professional with over 34 years of distinguished service in the Indian Air Force, from which he retired in June 2025.
He holds a PhD in Business Administration (Supply Chain Management), an M.Tech in Aerospace Engineering from IIT Bombay and an MBA in Operations from FMS, University of Delhi, and is a certified PMP®, Lean Six Sigma Green Belt® and QCI-accredited Advanced Manufacturing & Services Maturity Assessor. This engineering and quality-systems depth directly supports the firm's valuation of industrial plant, machinery and equipment for financing, insurance, insolvency and transaction purposes.
During his career he led major MRO projects for fighter aircraft, aero-engines and airborne stores — many executed under Transfer of Technology from global OEMs — and managed performance-based logistics and contract execution for the timely delivery of critical aviation spares and services. As Chief Instructor at an advanced fighter-aircraft training school he trained over 400 pilots and engineers, and in his final appointment with the DGAQA he served as Commanding Officer, overseeing quality control, inspection and testing of airborne stores at public and private-sector defence manufacturing units.
